I have the option "NUM LOCK" on in a locked bberry 9900, and need to insert the unlocking PIN which has letters. Does anybody know how I can switch off the "NUM LOCK"?

Press the Alt key a few times. If that doesn't work, remove the battery for a few seconds.

If removing the battery didn't work, I would imagine you have the Alt key stuck.
