I tried to install this on my 7290 running OS 3.8x on Cingular

I received this error after the first install:

"Error starting BBToday: Module 'BBToday' attempts to access a secure API."

When I tried a reinstall my Cingular Browser vanished. I talked to customer support and restored the browser.

The today program still did not work.

Any idea how I can get the Today program working on my device?

I also have the same problem. I tried reinstalling the software 4 times without success. Anyone? I have a 7290 3.8

Yeah I have heard some people having this problem. It was designed for OS 4.0. Anyway I guess if you try one of the earlier version of the Today's program I think it should solve the problem

I'm not having a problem with the app , only thing is that the weather app isn't working on it. it gives me a messg sayng error:unable to open connection, now i tried bes, and non bes options and it doesn't work either way, anyone know if i am doing something wrong?, thanks,

I am running this app on my 7100t and it is working just fine. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is that my "new mail" message is not updated for all the emails I recieve. I think it updates for my web client emails, but not my desktop (corporate) emails.

Had to get the latest device os from Tmo which is 3.8.28? Works great now!

i am trying to run the BBToday app on my 7100t. everything works except for the weather. im running OS4, what else do i need to setup? i went into prefs and turned off the BES but even that didn't fix it. anyone have any ideas?

so i went into TCP options added wap.voicestream.com as the APN with no user name and password and everything works now. this is sweet
