Erased camera file?

Trying to help family member with new Bold 2, and messed up her camera file I think.
Took some pics, when deleting some, it prompted do you want to erase read only file? Answered yes, and now when you take a pic, it will not file and show in the all pic section, in fact cant find new pics at all. Please advice.
Im thinking I erased the ability to file pics you take with the phone.
