Default Email on the 8830 with Verizon and the Mac

Please Login to Remove!

I am about to receive an 8830 after three years of use of a Treo. It just dawned on me..........I can sync with Missing Sync, which I have used for all of this time, but how do I get my emails. Do I need some other, non-Verizon software to successfully receive emails. I have had to use a separate program, Snappermail, to get emails on Verizon with the Treo. Thanks

Welcome to BlackBerry, my fellow Mac user.

You won't need to sync your email with your Mac, just your PIM data. You will set up your email accounts through the BlackBerry Internet Service. The set up is very easy. Your BlackBerry will automatically get your email after that.

Default ... it works GREAT!

I have been using my 8830 for 2 weeks now, retrieving/sending email from 3 different kinds of accounts with no issues whatsoever ... except ...

I can't get it to stop sending me a copy of my outgoing emails (even when I send an email from my PowerBook it is sending a copy to my BB).

I have turned off "bcc" both on the BB and on the verizon.blackberry internet service online.

Anyone?
