Exclamation Entourage Orphans messages on BB with BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I'm using Entourage 2004 (11.2.5), Exchange SP2, and BES through a hosted solution.

Entourage works well with Exchange in that changes, although not immediate,
post to exchange accurately. Strangely, when I use Entourage to manage my
email for a day, BES appears to orphan messages on my Blackberry. This
appears to specifically occur when I delete a file from Entourage. Filing
seems to work just fine. Also, I spent an entire day working on OWC and
NEVER had an orphaned email. I also, just for kicks, spent a day on Outlook
2003 and also never had an orphan. So... What gives? Why only deleted
emails?

Anyone else have this problem?

Delete on Entourage does not occur automatically. It is probably the one most annoying part of Entourage-Exchange-BES. It will usually delete once a day (I guess when Exchange runs some kind of a purge) from what I can tell. You can delete from the BB and it will delete from Entourage on sync. I've even tried setting a delete from Entourage rule in schedules and it does not help.

INTERESTING! I started skipping the use of the delete button and instead dragging email to the deleted folder. That appears to solve the problem. Unfortunately, I'm now noticing that the junk-mail filters also orphan messages. Is this the same issue?
