Default Hide downloaded apps

Please Login to Remove!

Do all downloaded apps show up in "Applications Management" and in App World? Is there a way to install an app on my phone without it showing up anywhere on the phone, maybe a sequence of key entries to open the app?
Would some sort of launcher have this ability?
