Default RIM Network Outage

Please Login to Remove!

FYI,

Verizon confirms network issues with RIM today. Thus far, seems to have started around 3:00pm ET.

Our users are getting emails very slowly. I have about 400+ messages pending in BES.

Thanks,
Pete

Thanks.

Nothing yet has been posted at -= Dataoutages.com =-.

Did VZW confirm only BES issues, or what?

Yes, I'm on the phone with VZW now. They are talking to RIM now and confirming it.

I just got off the phone with RIM because of pending packets to handhelds, they didn't mention that they knew anything about an outage.

we are seeing delays up to 4 hrs, but only for a couple of dozen users.

I have heard nothing from RIM concerning a data outage.

We have Tx 4 and would have heard about it.

Peter - What area? I'll check my vendor alerts but I had no reports from users with issues?

This was in NY Metro area.

We saw pending messages in BES and logged about a dozen Help Desk calls from BB users complaining of "no email" or "slow email."

Issue resolved around 6:30pm ET Monday 4/21.

This morning, things seem to be moving well.
