Taetu, way to go! Thanks for helping us out. It's good to see average users (I would assume you aren't part of a larger entity) contributing to software development.
I hope we see the number of BB software creators from the community developing free apps grow. My biggest complaint about blackberrys (and I REALLY have to dig to find a complaint) is that you just don't see the freeware you do with windows mobile (but, windows mobile also blows... a lot... so..).
Can't we all just think of the children/poor college students!?!? haha

Wow, somewhat new BB user here (8830) and was seeking a better weather page than the Accu-weather thing that BB offered.
This seriously rocks!!! Thank you very much. Excellent work!

BBweather resolution doesn't fit my 8130
I did a forum search and checked blackberryfaqs and did not find an answer to the only gripe I have with BBweather.
The information provided by this application does not fit in my 8130 screen. My BB's resolution is 240x260. I don't know if this app was written for 320x240, but much of the horizontal information gets cut off.
To the far right, all I see is:
UV Index:
Wind:
Humidity:
... etc because for me to see the actual values I would need to scroll to the right. This is very tedious because it also gets in the way of scrolling up and down when looking at the forecast.
Is there a way for me to make it all fit horizontally so I would only need to scroll up/down?
Thanks for any input.

Take a bow, Tateu!
Tateu, another thanks from a long time BBWeather user! You are a true BlackBerry Genius! I was using some web-based accu-weather alt, but it didn't have the detail, even if it did have the nice icon that reflected current conditions. There used to be an app way back when that would get you to the text of NWS statements and alerts, which I liked a lot.

Here is a quick fix:
OTA only, for the moment, I haven't packaged up the desktop version. I will get that up later today.
http://www.tateu.net/software/bb.php?f=BBWeather
This version also contains one other personal change that I made, which I can roll back if no one likes it...When scrolling through the Forecast, Only the days of the week are selectable, you can no longer select and copy any of the other temperature data.
I will work on some of the other suggested changes, maybe over the weekend.

Can you post the desktop version please.

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)
There is a desktop version posted in the original sticky thread regarding bbweather, bbtoday, bblight, bbcorrector and bbreply. I have updated the first post of that thread with new info.

I'm lost without BBWeather on my 8700. It mysteriously stopped working on May 6. I get the dreaded "Error: Bad or missing query parameters in request" (my locations all use ZIP Codes). I tried disabling the MDS proxy to no avail. I was thrilled to come accross this thread, but when I try to download tateu's new version, I get "Download Failed 907 Invalid COD." Any pointers to get me up and running again?

Tried again and it downloaded fine. Asked a couple of questions about replacing exiting files, asked to reboot and did that. BBWeather is BACK!!! Thanks so much, Tateu!
As to the download failed error, no clue why I was getting that, but in the immortal words, of Ms. Emily Latella, "Never mind."

Thank you so much, Taetu, this is great. I had given up on all weather programs for the Blackberry once I had discovered that it no longer worked.

Tateu- Thank you very much for the fix.
Any possibility of getting the "shortcut/icon" to update and show temp and graphic condition like weathereye does when left on home screen? It would be amazing if we could have BBWeather on the home screen with the update of current or most recent selected location, then click on it to view details and forecast.
Is this possible and Im missing it or is this a fantasy?
Right now I have weathereye on the home screen and BBWeather in my apps to go look up forecasts and multiple cities. Would love to consolidate!
Thanks!
