Question 7100i E-mail Bounce back?

Please Login to Remove!

7100i
Nextel Network

Alright, please bear with me. New to the Blackberry Community as I am to the Blackberry as a whole.

Here's my issue. When I send an e-mail via my Google Mail account be it from my 7100i, or from gmail by way of PC Browser or Entourage, a copy of that e-mail gets sent back to my phone and it is driving me up the wall. I can find no setting in which i can click this off. I spent an 3 phone calls and an hour and a half on the phone this morning with Nextels BB support and they were of no service and had completely screwed up e-mail account.

They had me erase some service books then all the books and then resent them and it is still bouncing a copy back to me. I have searhed entourage and Gmail setting to see if it is something in there and is definitely not.

any ideas out there?

Maybe this will help. I use GMail too. On my PC I have configured Outlook Express to retrieve my GMail messages directly. I don't go to the GMail web mail. I also configured GMail to forward a copy to my BB email address. I did not configure the BB to check the GMail directly. When someone sends an email to my GMail account I get it on my PC and I also get a copy automatically sent to my BB. With this system I always get my email and never get a copy of the sent mail to my BB. I also have GMail Mobile on my BB in case I want to interact with the GMail web mail directly.

If you need more info on this just ask.

Read here for the workaround on the Gmail problem... 03Burner, yours is a very standard gmail issue that has been solved.

Default Got It

Thanks Walt and JSanders for your input. After going round and round with the BB support folks that's what I ended up doing is creating a filter. Simple solution for a silly problem.

Thanks again!
