Should I assume that without the 10+ count the user will see the Black and White Screen that has the list and the only "Games" is Games and Applications". So that means Im on track? BTW, I have bought Texas Holem and Solitaire, great games and great quality. Support also excellent for those who are going to buy.

I'm having trouble getting the SVG style page. (no astronaut)
I've read the Internet Browser FAQ, and I am running the Cingular Browser on a 7290 which I have configured to support SVG and HTML.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?
Appreciate the help! Still learning the ropes....

Went to the site today and the same excellent games are still there for the Downloading:
Klondike
Bass Assassin
Raging Rivers
Spider Solitaire
Texas Hold 'Em
Although the original thread Post by Mark says not to use the WAP Browser I did use the NEXTEL NOL Browser and downloaded without a Hitch.I did need to have the 10 Posts I believe as the Menu changed from the one I had seen prior to getting to my 10th Post.
Thanks to all for a great little perk for being a member of Blackberry Forums. The Texas Hold Em is great I had already purchased it and was familiar with it. Top Notch products from Magmic and great support. I hope some people get it and try the Online play, Ive yet to see any people playing on that.

I still feel a little dumb:
When I point my Blackberry-browser (called "services") to mobile.blackberry.com, I only get the black-and-white page, no matter what i do in the options...

You have to download from the free section, Hold them 2 is a buy program with a trial period, but the regular texas holden in the free section is just as good and free. Make sure you go to the section that says free.

I did a step by step sequence on how to get to the games. :
here is the EXACT Step by Step that I used to get the FREE Downloads that Magmic is so nice to let us have.
Here goes:
Use your Blackberry's WAP browser (not the new HTML Browser)
Go to mobile.blackberry.com
You should then see a WAP Page that is Off Grey with Blue letters and
has an Astronaut Spacewalking. If you dont see that, then stop becuase you will never get to it.
Then Select 'blackberry extras" (located under "games/applications")
Then you will see a screen that says "The Blackberry team hopes you
enjoy these free downloadable extras" and then you have the option of
selecting "Games - Ringtones or Wallpapers"
Select "Games"
You will then see a a form that says FILL IN FORM and u can select "I ACCEPT" or "I DO NOT ACCEPT" . You will select "I accept"
Then, after it processes for 30-45 seconds or so
You should then see the games .
KLONDIKE
BASS ASSASIN
RAGING RIVERS
SPIDER SOLITAIRE
TEXAS HOLD 'EM

Note: It is interesting how different WAP browsers bring up different
images/versions of this page. When I do not use the BB's WAP Browser, it doesnt display the light grey page and is simple Black and White and will not show the proper choices.I used my WAP Broswer for my Laptop (WIN WAP PRO 3.1) it displays a completely different page in a different order. But using my NEXTEL BB7520, it works as I have documented above. So I think it must have something to do with being what service provider as well as how that acct is setup why some can get right to it and some cannot. Also, I believe that the Post Count is not involved at this stage. Also, these are full versions, not Demos that do not require registration. But in the case of at least Texas Hold "Em it is an earlier release. I have paid for the version 2 , and to my untrained eye do not see a difference.

But in closing, as someone stated, these are top notch games and it is a great opportunity for the Forum members. Thanks to whoever is responsible. (I dont know if Im dumb, but the Bass Assasin game does take a bit of practice, so they arent something you play twice and can beat in 5 minutes) I would like to see those playing use the online scoring, maybe we can get a thread going so we can know who is who on the different games. For those that dont know, most all of Magmic's gam,es can be setup so that your scores (or winnings) can be uploaded and you are ranked as well as posted if within the top 10. And I can comfortable assure everyone that none of the names on any of the games are mine. lol

Ok, I think I'm missing something. Everytime I goto mobile.blackberry.com, I don't get the astronaut. I've changed everything I could on the browser config, yet nada. Any hints?

Some phones / carriers will simply not be able to access the Astronaut page without a BES server. Unfortunately, most people dont have one of thoes just sitting arround.

However, If you are fortunate enough to have a BB 7290, i have the manual address to the page. Please let me know if this works or not...As I am hooked up to a BES, i have allways got the astronaut page. Hope this helps thoes of you that cant see it.

To go there type this into your browser:

http://mobile.blackberry.com/mss/gam...ameCatalog.svg

(Its lengthy i know, but if it works... its worth it)

EDIT:

Just was able to override BES and tried it the old way. Good News: It WORKS!

Hrm. I had downloaded Texas Hold'em King previously (and played it pretty much daily), but when I downloaded Texas Hold'em King 2, it erased the prior version. And version 2 won't play. Bummer!
