We have an Exchange 2007 server but are not yet running BES, though I'd certainly like to be.
We use BIS which has decent enough support for calendar invites, or has in the past. Once we upgraded to Exchange 2007 (which removes Outlook Mobile Access and makes Outlook Web Access inaccessible to BlackBerries w/o an alternative browser, HMM!) we started experiencing problems with invites.
First issue, if you send an invite to several individuals' BIS email address (we're talking
), and they accept the invite, we seem to get duplicate responses from a single person.
So we send the invite to persons A,B,C, but we get three acceptance messages that appear to be from person "A," although the two duplicate messages were actually generated by "B" and "C"!
Next problem -- *now* as of this week, when a BIS user accepts an invite, the user on the other end (running Outlook 2003, Exchange 2007) gets a "not supported calendar message.ics" file rather than a regular acceptance notification.
Anyone else run into these issues?
