go to menu/options/about and read the Wireless Handheld version.

Try highlighting the Enterprise Activation icon and press menu/hide application.

4.2.0.69 is the latest.

Enterprise Activation is only when you are connected to your company's BlackBerry network. If you use it for personal use only, then you don't need/want it.

Install the Desktop Manager if you don't have it installed already and make sure you can connect to the phone. Then unplug the phone and set it aside. Install the new OS on to your PC. Then search for the vendor.xml file and delete it. Then plug the phone in to the computer and run App Loader from the DM. It will ask if you want to upgrade.

Depends on what you want to do. If you go into the Programs folder, there is a 'Index of Programs'. It will tell you what each program is for. Check it out. I like the BBToday and BBWeather apps.

I like google maps. And there's a whole ton of info you can find here, including the answers to most of your questions above, by using that little 'search' function above.

I have the 4.2.0.64 OS on my T-Mobile Pearl. Would updating to 4.2.0.69 get rid of the T-Mobile stuff on the phone like myFaves and T-Zones?
