Cool Javascript Enabled..Yay or Nay

I know that the Storm's default setting is having the Javascript disabled. What exactly does this setting affect and what if I enable it? Will browsing be any quicker with it turned on? Thanks to all replies.

I kept it disabled with my 7100t a long time ago to speed up page loading. But since then, I've always kept it enabled. I think nowadays you will find even many mobile pages are using java and you'll miss out on some features if you disable it. But I can't cite examples.

I keep it disabled until I know I need it. It definitely helps with page load times.

+1. It is much slower to load pages when enabled but as aiharkness said, many pages require it to be enabled for full functionality. I keep mine off unless navigating to a page I know needs it.

Mine is disabled. However, I don't use the device for a lot of web browsing.

Java is very useful feature. Mine is disabled, but I visit a few page what require java for better experience, I bookmark them and set Java: Enabled.
Java is slow down browsing, java is plus, its downloaded to your phone, and run it localy..
