Well, folks... a year and change after I purchased it, it looks like my 7100t is no more. It will no longer charge from any charger. I've swapped out chargers, USB cables, and batteries... and the actual mini-USB port in the side of the unit is loose and almost ready to fall out. I guess this is a known issue, but I'm outside of my warranty...

I've ordered my 8700g, and it should be in tomorrow!

Anything I can do with the old unit? I was going to take a bunch of novelty pictures (I was thinking BlackBerry pie ) and probably end up putting a .40 round through it.

You could sell it for parts on Ebay. People can always use the keyboard, battery door, or case.

Hello there,
I recently got my blackberry 7100T with Handheld version 3.5 and it was working excellent. I upgraded the software to 4.0.2.49 and upgradation of the software was successful. But after upgradation hand set volume is very low i could bearly hear. If i am using the head set like Motorola HS 820 volume is fine. Am i missin some thing here. Any help is highly appreciated
