Default Yahoo.com (non-mobile) on the Pearl?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm sick and tired of Yahoo Mobile on my Pearl. One thing I miss with my Sidekick is the full blown Yahoo; is there anyway to get there on my Pearl without being redirected to the mobile site?

yea I was trying to do something similar. I don't think/haven't found a way currently to change the client ID whch is whats driving yahoo to redirect. I haven't tried Opera, you might be able to change client IDs on Opera mobile version like you can on the desktop version. If so you can change it to something like full IE or Mozilla.

Yahoo Mobile got updated yesterday. Try it today and see if you like it any better. Don't think you can get the full site.

The only way to do it is by using opera mini... Its the best program for stuff like that it let's you sign on to many sites you can using the "regular" browser.

looks like i figured it out, seems that only yahoo.com is the only yahoo url that redirects us bb users to the mobile site, if you go to say my.yahoo.com or mail.yahoo.com it keeps you on the full blown site with all the features and functions. mail.yahoo.com by the way works amazing on the pearl and allows you to attach photos and files from your pearl's internal memory or media card. i just updated my homepage and bookmarks, yippee.

ok, after a day of use it seems mail.yahoo.com isn't working like it did the first day. i can't delete multiple mails, the "reply all" button is missing, and the buttons on the main page don't seem to work. i guess it's back to yahoo mobile until i find a fix.

i had the same issue with my previous sidekicks until danger worked yahoo into their servers, hopefully rim will do the same. i really hate yahoo mobile.
