Maybe not. Or at least not practically. You can set filters on the email address in your BIS setup, but you will see it is only practically if the parameters you are filtering on are static.

The best thing you can do, if you are using Outlook to download email from an account provided by your ISP or some other service that has a spam filter on their level, is to enable it and tune it so that it catches most of the spam but catches as little legit email as possible. Of course you'll need to be able to check the spam filter occaisionally via webmail or something, to check for legit email that may have inadvertantly gotten caught.

EDIT: There may be 3rd party spam filters that reside on the blackberry. I don't know anything about that.

I run all of my mail through GMAIL. Their spam filters are the best, and my mail is pushed as soon as it arrives.

Is the SPAM hitting the BB? Are you forwarding your email to the carrier email account? If so, there is no SPAM filtering whatsoever on that account.

Since email to the BB is pulled from the ISP to RIM and then pushed to the BB, SPAM needs to be filtered at the ISP or Exchange Server level. A filter on the BB might help but I would think that would only catch a minimal amount.

Switch to gmail. You'll be glad you did.

I do the same thing. I only give my personal (Outlook) address to people I trust. I use my Gmail address when I register to use/log in to various websites (like this one). Any legitimate Gmail then gets forwarded to one of my personal (Outlook) email addresses, which I have my BB9000 set up to recieve. The result is no spam on my BB.

Unfortunately, if you have been experiencing SPAM through your ISP provided email address, you may have to either take that address off any sites you signed up for and replace it with a blind address (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc...) or change your personal email address completely in order to stop getting spammed.
