There are lots of bluetooth hacking programs out there that allow you to connect to another persons phone who's using bluetooth and do various things.
All the programs I've found so far only run on normal generic cellphones.

Does anyone know of any bluetooth hacking software that runs on the blackberry?

As someone that's done EXTENSIVE work in the wireless and Bluetooth fields while doing security penetration work, there is no software that will run on a Blackberry that will allow you to crack with it. The blackberry isn't designed for something like that on purpose. Just because it runs on other cell phones doesn't mean it will work on the blackberry. You need to remember that the blackberry was built with security in mind.

Thats what I figured. I doubt there's security built into the blackberry to prevent this, but rather my guess are the people developing the software don't have blackberrys so they don't care.

I got one of the apps to load but it gave a java runtime error. I'm sure it's possible.

If you knew what I know, and you did highly sensitive things, you wouldn't use a blackberry. They're fine for normal people though.

As far as the security on the Blackberry is I can't vouch for that, but a bluetooth connection is just that after.

I am not sure about a piece of software to hack to the connection/device but you can google "Bluetooth Sniper" somewhere on the net you actually find out how to biuld it, so as a pre-caution you always want to have encryption enabled. What it does is record the data transfered during the connection, but it shouldn't effect the integrity of the device itself.

OMG. This is quite possibly the funniest post I've read all year.

I know plenty of people who are so NOT normal who use Blackberry devices. Maybe they have figured out how to penetrate them. And they probably took video and posted it on YouTube. Right next to Paris Hilton's video.

As do I, for both the private and public sectors. This is not the place to talk about my background but it can't be done from the blackberry. There has been many people that have tried in both sectors.

problem is you have to accept the connection on the device you are trying to connect to. you can install all the apps you want on your device, but you are not connecting with mine unless i let you. not much of a hack.

Blackberrys are designed for grown-ups so a lot of this Nokia/SE "haxoring" stuff just doesn't exist for the platform. If you want to be a l33t hax0r, go for something with the Symbian s60 operating system. Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to do.
