Sorry for not searching the threads, but I was successful in connecting my Bold to my home's WIFI. No problems with the WEP, but I still get the grey icon, and the (-) sign under wifi connections, even though it shows the name of my home network at the top of the screen.

Any ideas?

erm, do a battery pull and try again.
then reboot the router if the battery pull doesnt work.
if neither work, let us know, we'll go from there.

What kind of access point do you have? If it's a Linksys WRT54G2, there have been reports on these forums and others of some strange incompatibility with those APs and BlackBerries.

OK - bumped because it was connected, got the green check mark, got the white wifi logo, but then my browser wouldn't connect to the internet. Turned off wifi, and it wouldn't connect over 3g or Edge. Then it did. Any clues???

Never mind. Found out BIS had rolling blackouts last night.
