Looks like you may not getting a fix on a Sat.
You must be outdoors or near a window for this to work, so if this is the case, no biggie, just enter your Zip code and you'll be all set.

Can anyone post a link that works with OS .75 please? Because the link that I used when I load Weatherbug it freezes up my entire phone, and this was the newest .210 version or whatever. Anyone have a link that WON'T freeze up my phone?

The current version should not freeze up your phone. Make sure you clear your cache before installing the new version!

It seemed to me that it was continually updating, which I would prefer it didn't. I don't see a way to have it only manually update. I don't want it draining my battery and driving my data usage up when I am not using it.

So I removed it. If someone knows how to have it update manually only or when opened, please let me know.

Now 3 more times, I downloaded Weatherbug it completely installed icon looks normal. When I click on the icon it freezes my entire device and I have to do a battery pull.

I would like to know the same, if it continues to auto update my position I will uninstall this..

I have the upgraded OS, weatherbug was really slow but worked 50-50%. Then got notice of upgrade to the WB, downloaded it, rebooted device and now NEVER got updates, caused lots of hangs for extended time 15-60sec, still never got WB update. Could not enter zip or other to get a report. I got tired of it and deleted it. Doesn't work right yet. Maybe I'll come back to it again later.

To clear your Cache:

open your browser, press the BB menu key select Options/Cache Operations/clear history, content cache, pushed content and cookie cache. That should do it!

Every version so far has frozen/locked up my phone, even after I've cleared my cache. I'm curious to know why it works on some but not others.

I have solved my issues with weatherbug. I installed weatherbug on my wife's storm and it worked perfectly. I compared things between our phones and noticed she had BBmaps installed and I uninstalled mine. So I installed BBmaps on my phone and it reinstalled Weatherbug and it works perfectly. Just thought this might work for others.

mine has been acting real weird. I had it working for quite a while...then it just stopped opening. Information's still displaying fine. However when I click on the icon...nothing. Doesn't open, doesn't lock up. Just...nothing.

Hold the menu button, says it is running...just complete nothing. The application won't show.

Anyone experience this? Solutions? It just came out of nowhere that it won't open the actual application itself.

I guess I am lucky, mine has been working great since the updated software. I do have one question though... Does this application suck the battery life? My battery has hardly lasted 10 hours, with very average use. I have considered deleting it because I am wondering if it is the cause. Anyone else notice your battery life became worse after using this app? I love the application, but not the reason I own a Blackberry.

well i have had my phone on since 8 this morning average use with constantly checking weatherbug (wife has to drive home in a snow storm) and it is 12am now and i still have 2 bars of power left. just to add i have also been using the garmin app a tad as well..
