Hi,

I would like to use jde 4.2.0 in 8700g and develop a voice recorder.

Is it possible to progammatically record voice and programmatically play voice?
What are the voice formats ? Specifically, are AMR and WAV supported ?

If not, can I upgrade to higher jde and achieve the above objectives.

But, my question is whether the model 8700g supports voice recording at all. That is, if I run the code shown in the link, will 8700g capture the voice data ?

The way I read that page, if you have 4.2 or better on your 8700g then yes you can capture voice data. If not, then no you can't.
