Can the 7250 4.1 version be far behind?

probably a bit longer. i believe Verizon was 'planning' on being the first out of the gate with it for the last generation devices, due to the EVDO access and selling point, but who knows. its doubtful we'll see 4.1 for the 32MB 7100 and 7200 devices for a few more months, at best. i've requested to be involved with carrier beta testing, but that usually leads to a deadend.

Tried updatating my 7100t with the software and got fatal errors and had to revert back to Cingulars 7100's OS.

Anyone else have trouble or had success?

mdaoudi i had that happen before on os 4.0.2 when i loaded themes and accidently deselted them and yeah it might work if you loaded theme files for the 7200 series in to it look for the theme.zip file. and on the 7100 files it would all work if i had platform 2.3.0.x they upgraded it i can tel this by loadng the java folder of the file hybrid i made in to simulator.

Speed - Were you able to upgrade your 7290 firmware to 4.1? If so, how would I go about doing it on my AT&T 7290?

Thanks! This is a great site!

Can any new recipients of the 8700c verify if this posted software update is the same version that is in the shipping model?

If you aren't sure how to update BB OS software, your probably better not trying until it's officially released for your device by your carrier..

I just tried it by copying all the files from the 8700 and placing in the 4.0 folder for 7100 (4.0.2.49) and added the rim7100g.bin file. Still got JVM error 200.
