I have three email accounts on my Pearl and would like a different notification for each so that I know from which email account a new message is from. However, when I change the notification sound for one account, the Pearl changes it for all three accounts. Anyone seen this problem or have a solution?

Just to confirm that you are doing it correctly, is this where you are going:

Menu > Profiles > Advanced > Select the profile that you are using > then select the account you want to change > change the tune.

Mine is working just fine.

Mine does the same thing and it's annoying. (I have 3 accounts as well)

Honestly, I haven't sat down with it for long enough to figure out how to make them different for each account. It's possible that they are all just lumped into "messaging settings" so when you change one, they all change.

No, there is a different settings tab for each account. Follow my instructions above and you'll see the different settings.

No dice. When I change the tone for one e-mail account it changes the tone for all three e-mail accounts. Are you sure you're talking about the same thing as me? For example, I want the Crystal tone when an e-mail comes from my BES, but a Cricket tone when it comes from my POP3 account. When I change the tone for one account, the Pearl chnages it for the other. No way to have two different tones...at least as far as I have found.

That might be an issue with your BES policy. It works just fine for me.
