Thumbs up Post Custom Made Themes ONLY

Please Login to Remove!

In an attempt to clean up the thread of custom themes, how about posting only the custom themes here and I will start a threat that says Requests for Custome Made Themes, so we dont have to search through 45 pages of bullitens to only see about 3 per page? Just think it would make it a lot simpler when trying to find new themes.

Please ALSO write which version the theme is for!

Thanks!

hehe - you think that this will keep it sorted and neat?

to be perfectly honest, someone who's requesting one should post a new thread that says '[REQUEST] Theme Description' and it should be filled in that thread, if someone wishes to fill it (or make a new thread that says '[FILLED] Theme Description'). or someone could simply search for the general theme description (such as 'panther' for the Pink Panther theme recently posted).

Thats another way to do it...Being a mod is there a way that you could make a different section for that? That would be the ultimate way to do it, but the key would be to set a notice or something for everyone to do it that way. I just know that a month down the road when there are 100+ pages on that one thread, it is going to be a pain to go through all of them.

Tom would have to do it. Go post something in the Suggestions forum. The only problem, and no offense to our userbase here, is the fact that even if we put a notice or mandate something needs to be done a certain way, there's always going to be a good percentage of users who still post the same stuff in the same places w/o giving a thought to the idea that perhaps there is a standard way of doing things.

...that and the fact that whatever solution is in place will likely be trashed within two weeks by various users who figure that a sub-forum entitled 'Themes Requests Forum' is the best place to ask how to get their AIM buddy list to show up on their recently downloaded Google Talk client (seriously, some people just never cease to amaze me) - bet on that...

Maybe if the custom theme sticky thread was pruned of all the posts that did not have a posted theme it would reduce it down and help?

jibi is right with what will end up happening, so the question then becomes how do you control it?

Maybe try deleting posts that do not contribute to the thread.

Just a thought? Not sure you can ever keep things totally on topic.
