I don't think there is going to be a 4.1 for the 7230. It only has 16mb of memory.

Sprint already has a release out for the 7250.

Is there a 4.1 software for Verizon users of the 7250? if so, is there a link to this???? I tried the VZ site but it does not accept my numbers as a verizon number.

Wirelessly posted (7250/4.1.0.268, Bell Mobility: BlackBerry7250/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/109)

The Sprint code will work on your Verizon 7250. Some users have experienced difficulty with Tethering after upgrading to 4.1, but, the general experience has been quite positive.

There are a few threads out there that discuss the upgrade procedure and user experiences in detail; I suggest you read those first before proceeding with the upgrade.

Hmmmmmm....I guess then I might be waiting on the 8700 from T-Mobile to fulfill my GUI needs I might play with the 7250. Depends on how much work I want to put into it. I have to make sure that one is up and running for work purposes.

I went to the Sprint 4.1 for my Verizon 7250 and it worked fine except that I could not tether. The VZ connection software on my laptop could not find the phone. I went back to 4.0.2 and tethering is back. Just guess I'll have to wait until VZW gets 4.1 out unless there is a workaround for tethering with the Sprint version of 4.1.

There isnt one at the moment I upgraded and downloaded a number of times without success but however, the software works well with no issues and the overall benefits are worth it to me since tethering is secondary to me and I would only use it in an emergency.

Default Download OS v4.1.0.210 from Cable & Wireless 7290/7100!

https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...81A90F89D99BCD

Here is the C&W version of 4.1 OS. This BBS is pretty busy so I don't know if it has been listed elsewhere, however here it is for those of you that were asking about it. I installed it on my 7105T (Tmobile) and have had no problems whatsoever out of it.

Here is a link on how to install it:
