Hello and thank you for purchasing our product!

After talking to my product team, we determined that depending how you push the case in and/or any additional skins or modifications may result a change in installation behaviors. This should not affect how well the case stays together. Here is a video showing how we did it:

Another interesting fact is that the clip assy for the 8800 is actually thinner then this clip assy for the 8300 / 8900 series.... Seems strange to me... so what I did was removed the spring loaded clip from the 8800 clip assy and installed it on the 8300/8900 clip assy, and now I have a lower profile clip (by about 1/8 - 1/4"). Since this phone has different dimensions then the 8300 series, shouldn't Seidio make a clip that fits the 8900 phone specifically?
Seidio - when are you going to make a clip specifically for the 8900? I've "macgyvered" the clip that was sent with the innocase II set (as I mention above) but it's still a sloppy fit since it is made for a 8300 series. I appreciate any feedback since I'm a loyal customer that wants to continue using the Innocase II series.

Anyone from Vancouver order this? If so, how long did it take to ship? Mine supposedly shipped on the 9th but I still haven't received it. I am eagerly awaiting this thing!

Just got mine and I'm pretty happy with it.

How much are the Seidio docks going to cost? I need a couple of 'em, and at $12/ea on Amazon the RIM ones are hard to beat. Plus, they're slick looking -- Seidio's docks are pretty ugly.

The only problem with the RIM ones is I'd have to remove the bottom of the case every time I docked it, which is kind of a pain. I also wonder how well the bottom will stay on after repeated removal.

Any suggestions?

Thumbs up me likey

Received my Seidio Innocase II and Clip yesterday - 8900 doesnt come until Monday

Not having the phone yet I cant comment too much - But so far I'm very happy with it.

Cost $55 shipped.. but its saving me the time, effort and warranty woes of replacing the chrome bezel with black and buying a black battery case AND it will protect my device.

I'm in Vancouver and I got mine on the 19th. My thoughts:
The skin is awesome, perfect matte texture, not linty and not glossy. No interference with the edge keys on the keyboard. 10/10 for the skin. The holster...love the suede(ish) liner. Fits fine, no worries, could be a hair snugger but no way the phone can be knocked out. Two small gripes, first, the clip digs into my side but that is the nature of clip holsters (and my waist line...). Second the spring tab used to release the phone sticks straight out from your body adding substantial thickness (not very stealthy under an untucked shirt. It would be nice if the tab could be angled slightly forward so it is more parallel with the phone rather than perpendicular. 8/10 for the holster. Overall 9/10 for the combo.

Hi!

Is this available anywhere in asia? Shipping to asia is just too high and cost almost as much as the case itself.

Thanks!

Ordered my Combo the other day and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I'm very confident in Seidio due to the fact this is the third BB I am ordering accessories for. All previous orders have been with Seidio and I've been thoroughly satisfied. Thank you Seidio, and keep up the good work!

Hello,

Be on the the look out over the next few weeks about the dock release information, it will be very reasonably priced and works with your Innocase installed or the device itself!
The dock with the 8900 Curve will be a matte finish like the Innocases and have two ports on the back -- Mini & Micro USB, something RIM's dock lacks.

Thumbs up

As an update I received my 8900 today - The case fits it perfectly. I had a Seidio Sillicone Skin for my 8100 for the 2 years I had that device and loved it, then I got an 8110 a few month's ago and wasnt that happy with it because the cutouts made some parts too thin so it would fold up and shift when I holstered or used the device which was annoying even though it still offered good protection.

With the 8900 innocase I'm back to the good ole 8100 days of being 100% satisfied, I like the look too - hides the chrome and the grey battery cover. Will post a picture when I get out of work.

It is expensive..... but I'm happy with the purchase and no regret's.

I beleive my clip and case shipped the same day as I ordered it (I work nights and ordered at about 3 am) and I received it 3 days later via USPS.

Phone looks nice in the case -

One issue is that I cannot charge the device while in the holster because the holster sold to go with the 8900 is the one designed for the 8330 - it fits, but the Micro USB is in a different location to the 8330's Mini USB and is partially blocked so although you can see it fine, you cannot plug a USB cable into it.

I just got my case today. I got the case and leather holster combo. I love it I was alittle unsure at first but i removed my invisible shield in order to install it. Only thing I do not like that I feel like the bottom piece is not really CLICKING with the top. It doesnt seems all that secure. like the clip isnt working at all. SEIDIO what do you think?

I have the same issue.

Seems the same for the screen protectors. They don't cover the entire screen.

Well, the case scratched the chrome bezel of my 8900 when I removed the bottom portion. It was wiped clean when it went in, there was no debris inside.

Oh well.

I agree. Not as seamless as the innocase for my 8320.
