AT&Ts cheapest calling plan is 450 minutes for $39.99. Unlimited BB Data is $30 and Unlimited BB Text is $20. So, the cheapest base plan to fit your criteria is about $90.

OUCH! Even with unlimited everything on an individual account it's only $150. I have seen AT&T do this in other arenas when it comes to business phone service. Really sucks.

I've wondered about this. AT&T, in their wisdom, forced an additional $10.00 per month for 3G service with the iPhone 3G, so the data plan for the iPhone went from $20.00 to $30.00 per month. Plus, you can't add a data plan without 3G service when using the iPhone 3G. I'm worried that AT&T will do the same thing with the Bold and boost the monthly cost for data just because of 3G.

3G costs no extra

The iphone cost for data went up to match the other pda phone data costs as the iphone is now subsidized/ discounted price for device

Wait...was that price for all 5 phones? or is that a per phone price? $283 for 5 phones doesn't sound that bad, but $283 per phone...ouch.

that price is for 5 phones. 2100 mins shared, plus the extra they get ya for...and we can't forget the unlimited data and unlimited txt. by the time you add Uncle Sam's portion in there you don't have much left over!!

I do get my money's worth out of em though...my M2M is around 10,000mins a month,so the next time you drop a call its not from being out of tower range...its tbird57 hogging the airwaves ;)

by the way for the record...4.5.0.69 OS is working darn good...so AT&T its time to upgrade your BB software site anytime now!!

While figuring your "budget", do not forget that the vity, county, state and Federal fees and taxes will greatly effect you total bill.

AT&T is -relatively- expensive, from what I've gathered. On T-Mobile, I have the BlackBerry Minutes & Mail plan; 1000 Whenever minutes, unlimited data, and unlimited texts. This runs me $60/mo. AT&T wants $60/mo -just- for 900 minutes. Data + unlimited messaging looks to be another $50/mo. This kills me =/

AT&T is not the cheapest but, if coverage is everything, I have found it to be the best no matter where I am.
