Blocking calls named 'Private Number'
Please Login to Remove!
Hey guys
Lately ive been getting calls from ppl who are trying to prank me
So short of punching them in the face, stealing their phone and deleting my number from their SIM, i'm stuck
I dont want to get a new number cause thats stupidly inconvenient for me
Is there any way (either network or device) to block these calls?

Try assigning a silent ringtone (i.e. an empty mp3) to that particular caller. That way, when he calls, your ringer won't go off and at least you won't have that distraction.

I use my home phone number ( ATT ) and have it set to Privacy mode. Then call forward to the BB Cell number. Privacy Manager service blocks any call that does not have a caller ID shown and my Cell number remains private.
Another option I use is to use Grand Central to forward to the home phone which then forwards to the Cell. This creates a double blind to the Cell number and home phone. A bit much but when I have to give out the number to someone I dont know too well it's nice.

I use Black and Whte list, I get no blocked or unavailble numbers coming through.
