They should, I have not heard anyone saying they would not.

I know Google Maps does.

Default Google Maps

Google Maps stayed frozen at the Terms/Conditions screen for me when I did this last upgrade. I just deleted it and reloaded it from the web and it worked.. even got a newer version number with it.

I'll try that. I didn't have the time to do so last time. Thanks!

Anyone having problems where links don't get selected in column view in the browser when the cursor is off? Seems to be the bug that's been in all 4.5 versions I've tried, where sometimes you go to a page and can't click on a link.

But you can select with the cursor on in column view, right?

Yes. And it doesn't always give me a problem selecting without the cursor... its a sporadic and minor issue.

Now why would RIM give us an official release without the wallpapers and folder icons? That's real stupid.

Its not RIM that gave this version the official release, the carrier approved it. RIM has newer versions that has been released to RIM partners for testing.

Default Upgraded Monday and now dropping calls - ugh.......

I've upgraded to the newest device software and now I keep dropping calls. My Curve reboots and takes up to 3 min. each time it re-boots. I'm using DM 4.5.0.15 and the device version is 4.5.0.52 Platform (2.7.0.66). Not sure where to look in log to determine what the problem is. Or if someone can direct me to a link to back-rev the current version it would be appreciated.

Kind of confused... You say you have the Curve buy your device says 8100. Which one is it. Just double checking before we send you a link.

I've been running 4.5.0.52 on my AT&T 8310 for about a week now without any problems.

We'll I first tried to use
8310M_PBr4[1].5.0_rel52_PL2.7.0.55_A4.5.0.37.exe and had dropped call problems then I upgraded to; 8310M_PBr4.5.0_rel75_PL2.7.0.66_A4.5.0.52_TIM_Ital y.exe and I am still having problems.

I did have KeePass on the device and I just remove that thinking that might be the problem. I'm still testing the device since removing the app just about an hour ago.

Has anyone noticed that "content compression" is enabled by default... I could have sworn that pre-4.5 it was disabled.

I'm wondering if a 2-3 min. boot time is expected. It is still taking me at list that long for the device to start up.

I just upgraded this morning, all went well including Enterprise Activation. My calendar is not syncing now. I have done a battery pull with no results. I have done several upgrades and never had this issue. Tried a search, but did not seem to come up with anything.

Some are mentioning how this new OS didn't retain "folders". What does that mean?

When I'm in the mail app, hilite an email, and press the letter "i", it doesn't open a "place in folder option". Does the above point explain this?

I downgraded back to the 4.2.whatever that is most current with AT&T. Yeah, the rich text emails and video camera (and a few other improvements) were nice, but not nice enough for me to overcome the incompatibility with my favorite theme (BB Dimension Today Plus) and the issue where the ALT-Enter wouldn't lock the device. That and a few other issues will keep me from upgrading right now. It is nice to see that a newer official version is right around the corner.
