For those who haven't noticed Shape Services IM+ app is now in app world for Playbook. Been hanging out for this one for a while. BES integration and Kindle app are all that are on my wish list now.

If the chat server we run at work wasn't blocking outside connections I'd probably give it a go cause then at least I'm not paying for it :D

I just don't know about paying $10 personally... my BB already has free chat apps.

Can anyone confirm that you can use IM+ to communicate with SKYPE contacts via skype messaging?

I have MSN Messenger and Skype accounts configured in IM+. I have ssnt/received messages to contacts on both accounts.

I went to go purchase this app, but I noticed a significant number of disgruntled comments about the app. Do you have any insight on whether this app is worth $9.99 at this time. One person even said he was charged 19.99 for the app and they would not give him a refund. I'm interested in using IM+ for skype, but these comments have made me rethink my purchase.
