This area is a blast! Here is the general Q:

Since it's been open has your opinion of any users here changed now that you can see deeper into their brain?

Many of us have been here since the start of this great site, or have been here a very, very long time...

I personally don't think any different of anyone here but I have to say that some users opinions posted in this area were not what I would have thought they would be..

Like I said, some of us have been here a long time and I am sure many of us have formed opinions on what we thought other members were like ect...

Only condition I have for this is to please not call a member out..

Actually I owe someone an apology. I would have certainly thought their political views would be much different then mine. Some have been very surprising and others were spot on.

Hell I'm IT, I have thick skin by default and your right, most of us have been here awhile, although my post count doesn't show it. I've known a lot of you for awhile and we all can't agree on everything. That's why I don't get into politics with my friends.

My opinions of some have changed, but for the better. Like Dawg, I was surprised at the stances that some have taken here, but it's all good-a great way to get to know some of the folks better.

My opinion hasn't changed of anyone! Some of their stances are different than what I thought but I respect that. We all have our opinions and differences. It has definitely made for some enjoyable reading and as long as everyone respects each other perspectives all is good

Quite frankly, I have been disappointed with regard to two items:

• The level of civility, or lack thereof, by persons on all sides of the political spectrum
• The quality of debate, or lack thereof, evidenced in the one line sound bite responses often presented as posts

I will, BTW, not absolve myself of those complaints.

I was also surprised by this. In particular on the sometimes contentious debate in the Obama/evolotion thread.
