Does it suck the life out of your battery? I've tried to use it but it sucks the life out of my batter within 2 hours or so, and after I uninstall it, my battery doesn't die fast anymore...I love BeeJive but I can't use it if it is going to drain my battery like that

REALLY HMM because i updated my 9500 vodafone and i was not sure if beejive was killing the battery or the OS so i went back to ..141 and it seems to be running little better. to be honest i have used beejive on my 8700 my 8300 8800 and my storm until i have been using the storm all the other phone never had battery issues. i am thinking it might be an os issue not sure . but hands down the best program out there.

Check out the storm beta post on the beejive forums, they are aware of the battery problem. Most users will see about a 8% battery drain per hour, and hopefully the next version of the beta will include a patch for this. Although I have no connections to say when the next beta will be released, judging by the delay from the first two versions, I would say its coming soon. Personally, I really enjoy the program, but I'm waiting for the battery saving code before I make a full switchover.

Yeah when the battery issue gets fixed I will make a full switchover to BeeJive, until the I use the AIM that comes with the storm. Thanks for your replies.

Good to know about the battery drain. I was wondering if I had somehow damaged my battery - didn't occur to me it could be the BeeJive beta. However, I'm too pleased to finally have BeeJive that I'll just deal!
