Since WES is right around the corner, May 7th. I am betting RIM will not release the 8300 until the week of May 6th only on Cingular/ATT first. Since ATT is a gold sponsor of WES.

Again I have no sources just a hunch.

If not, then I will find the nearest RIM employee at WES and interrogate him/her until they spill the beans on the 8300.

I also can't find TMO on the sponsor list. Makes me wonder if TMO is a no show this year.

Not sure of release dates for 8300, i just know that mine is being delivered by courier to my house tomorrow....woohoo...

That tells me O2 in the uk have just qualified it on their network so it should be very imminent.

T-Mobile is going to be there. With their old 8800s and Pearls. In fact, they are having some events there Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Yeah, saw the press release on BB website that they will be there.

They will launch at WES......there's absolutely no doubt about it, and you could bet good money that it'll be on a multitude of carriers. RIM have very little interest in giving exclusives now, and if they do the exclusives are very very short. They just want as many people as possible using the kit, and WES is the perfect launch pad to announce a new device.

That would make me very happy. With Cingular and T-Mo being #1 and 2, respectively, they would certainly have the chance to hit the largest potential group of users at once by offering it on both carriers right off the bat.
