Default Carry Case for the 8800 or 8300

Please Login to Remove!

When the 8800 or the 8300 comes out on T-Mobile will it have the same carry case as the 8700 did? Iunderstand that when the 8800 came out on Cingular it did not have the same one. To each his own, but I really like the old BB cases. Anyone have any info on this?

The Cingular 8800 had the slip in belt case with swivel clip. My favorite! If you are refering to the plastic POS holster that came with the 8700, well I tossed mine in the trash.

Who knows what T-Mo would provide, likely the same leather case. You will be lucky as the 8800 has been out for a while and there is alot of 3rd party cases, skins and other accesssories out there.

Has RIM even made a plastic holster for the 8800 yet? You'd think that we could buy one as an accessory if it existed.

The leather holster for the 8800 actually works really well. Takes a little time to get used to the magnetic flap but I can draw and holster my 8800 as quickly as I could have done so with my 8700 in its plastic holster.

Out of the 22 8800 units in my company the only person who did not prefer the leather holster was an X-employee who was so lazy he would holster his 8800 with the magnetic flap inside the case, scratching the phones screen and then telling me "he did not know what was causing it"!

He admitted to one of my employees that the flap was a pain in the butt and he would just force the 8800 into the holster with the metal "Blackberry" button forced into the screen.

Fired!

Not because of what he did to his phone but his attitude toward the phone was typical of his attitude on everything. He could have atleast cut the damn flap off!

Fired!
