hi, I have been trying to download ringtones to my phone from my computer, I think Im making it more complicated than it has to be, when I download using media sync, the sound bytes go to my playlist instead of ringtones is that the norm or am I doing something wrong or is their a better way to do it this if it was up to me I wouldnt them in the same place. Am I making sense. thanks all

I've never used media sync before but it sounds like that's something it does by default. I've always used mass storage mode to transfer my mp3 files. I can specify which folder the files go into (music or ringtones). You might want to try that. Otherwise, if it's already on our device, go to media player, press the menu key and select Explore. From there you can navigate the folders and files, and move files from one folder to another.

The easiest way by far is to use drag and drop or copy/paste with Windows Explorer with mass media mode enabled as Trimix said.
