Default How do you do this?

Please Login to Remove!

Scenario:

an existing user receives a new device, how do you go about setting it up?

Myself, because I have wireless synch, i simply delete the user in BES, add them back and set a wireless activation password and activate from the new device.

I'd like to know..what other methods are people doing?

I just set the user up with a new EA password. This will copy all of their settings/data to the new device.

Ditto! This is exactly how I handle it also. When applicable, I wipe the old device first.

Same here, don't delete the account, just issue a new EA password. Wipe old device afterwards.

The nice is that it will save things like the password keeper and other settings that aren't necessarily synced with a mailbox if you don't delete the user.

As for me, my "preferred" method is to just create a new password however there have been times where i had to delete the user, not sure why?

I have only deleted a user and added back once or twice.
Knot sure why you would need to, unless something was really wrong with the mail account
