Help Please on my
New Blackberry 7290 from T Mobile

When I try to launch Tasks I get the following msg.

I have also been trying to use PocketMac. Address Book syncs. Calendar does not.

sounds like the database is corrupted.

if you can get onto a PC and use the Desktop Manager

1) plug in, get to connected status
2) goto backup/restore
3) click on advanced
4) on Right hand side, click on tasks (so it's highlighted)
5) clear

this will clear the database so it has nothing in it, only thing is you will lose all your tasks.

try remove/readd battery and see if that fixes the problem but if it continues after that, only real option is to clear the database.

I have the same exact problem, how have you resolved the issue if you have. Using pocketmac,,,,,,tasks is causing the general exceptio......

I had the saem problem for my Tmobile phone, 7100t
Go to http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade/
and upgrade the software for your phone. the process will take 15-20 minutes but helps in resolving this issue. I would suggest you get updates for your phone, addressbook, tasks etc. to make sure your phone is working right.
