What is the problem you are having with Multitap? It is a know problem with the letters doubling when trying to get to the second letter. For instanse if you want to type the word "read" you may bet "eead". Personally I hate multitap and only use it for passwords. Suretype is must faster and better.

You can find all the previous OS's in this post:

If you read the thread of info here on .107, you will see the MultiTap issue discussed. If you look at the old threads on OS updates for the 8100, you will find the old OS as well.

Good luck, it is there.

Mine lets me wipe it clean, but it didn't help the multitap problem. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this without reverting back to the old OS?

There is no fix for the multitap issue without reverting. It's present in all versions of 4.2.1 OS.
