Default Daily Planner Software

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, I am very new to the world of BB so please be patient with me

I am looking for some daily planner (think Franklin Covey style) software that I can use on my laptop and transfer to my BB. Is this even possible and if it is, where can I find it? Everything I have looked at is so overwhelming...I would love to know what works and what doesn't.

Thanks!

The calendar, contact list, and email functions are designed to be your daily planner. They all sync with Outlook.

I think you'd find REXwireless's ToDoMatrix and IdeaMatrix ideal. I have them both myself and they just announced a version optimized for Franklin Covey and GTD (Getting Things Done).

I will never use Outlook Tasks again and LOVE these products.

Here's the announcement:

REXwireless Announcement for ToDoMatrix

P.S. Their support is OUTSTANDING!

If you don't like Outlook, go into the Intellesync setup. The current compatible programs are there. Not that many if I remember correctly - Outlook, Agenda, Lotus Notes, etc. Only about 6 or 8 I think.

I don't think there is very much else out there. Outlook is the overwhelming favorite, especially since this is more a business tool than a consumer tool and Outlook dominates the business world.

To add to what MadDog said, if you change you mind about Outlook integration, they (RexWireless) is coming out with Outlook/TodoMatrix integration to Outlook real soon.

The whole Task thing was one of my most application decisions. I initially thought that I wanted something simple, like PocketDay, BUT the REXwireless products do so much more and are virtually impossible to outgrow. What is also cool is the automatic back-up to the server AND REXdesktop where you can access all of your data from your desktop computer through the Internet.

So far, it's been FLAWLESS!

$60 for Rex's product? Wow... seems steep, but I'll check out the demo.

Thanks for the recommendation.

It looks like Rex has a good product but perhaps a bit too sophisticated for my purposes.

That's what I thought at first, way too sophisticated, but the more I learn, the more I'm liking what I can do with it.

Yeah, pricey, but then again, some pricey things are actually worth it, and I think this one is.
