Hi,

Like the idiot that I am I have forgotten my ap world password.

Ive tried several times to reset the password but after answering the security question answers and adding a new password I keep getting an error message 'There was an error while updating your password. Please try again'

Having locked my phone several times Im at the end of my tether!

Appworld is flakey. For what it's worth, I was unable to log in and even though I was sure I was entering the right password I went ahead and did the password reset. I don't rememner it exactly now, but I think I ran into the same error message before the reset finally took, and I was still unable to log in for the better part of a day.

All I can advise is try the reset every hour or so until it works, and give it a reasonable time for things to sort out on their own. If it isn't working still after half a day, call your service provider.

Thanks, I've tried resetting this over a period of a week now but will keep trying!

Call your carrier's customer service. Maybe they can do something, maybe not. But they are first line of support.

I guess worst case you could create another account. I've seen that suggested. No personal experience doing it.

..... You might also try removing Appworld and reinstalling. Didn't work for me with my problem, but who knows. Worth a shot if you haven't already tried it.
