Yeah the camera is fairly good quality. Decent sensor to it.

Obviously the quality is not that of a digital camera but it is quite impressive

Yes offcourse we cannot compare it to a digital camera.

One thing I noticed guys, is the focus happens almost instantly. You don't even feel it, when I had my 9700, you had to wait for a sec or 2 till the focus adjusts properly. Is it the placebo effect or ist this true? I could almost swear there was a slight delay from the moment I hit the snap button till the moment the pic is actually taken on my 9700

yes there is defiantly a delay. you can even see the auto-focus delay on the screen. i cant wait to get my hands on a 9780!

I hope you get it too. People think it's just a small upgrade to the 9700, it isn't theres a huge difference.

The keyboard buttons are very soft making them very easy to type on. I can type 25% faster on my 9780 as opposed to my previous 9700.

512 MB of memory means you can install allll the apps you want and the OS will never feel slow nor will you have issues in performance

Wow the pics definitely looks good!

I am thinking og getting the 9780 too...its either that or the Torch, but the 9780 seems more 'sturdy', one never knows with a 'slider' and a 'touch' phone!

I'm sold by your arguments, was unsure between Torch 9800 and Bold-9780 - not any more Will be going for 9780 tomorrow...
