Default Calendar accounts not syncing

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, just ran into syncing problems, if anyone has a solution for me that'be much appreciated:
I succesfully sync'd outlook (W'XP) on my desktop with a new Bold 9700, used the Device Switch Wizard, and now the Bold contains all calendar items of the past 4 years. Next I wanted to dump all items into Outlook on a new laptop (also W'XP). Used a 1-way synch configuration on BB Desktop Mgr but ran into problems: all contacts, tasks and memopad sync'd properly, but none of the calendar history did, only newly created items on the Bold transfered to the laptop.
From what I can see all calendar history items on the Bold refer to "Default" account, whereas newly created items refer to "Desktop" account. Only the "desktop" account entries are synching with the laptop.
Any ideas how to sync the 'old' calendar items?

Desktop Manager 5.0
Open DM and choose "Synchronize"
Next window click in the left menu under Configure on "Synchronize" connect your blackberry and click on the Button "Synchronization" on the right.

In the new window click on "Calender" and then on the button "Setup"

Select the application.. Choose "Microsoft Outlook" click on NEXT
Choose your Direction you want to sync click NEXT

In this window change under "Transfer items within a range of days" the Days prior to today and Days after today.

Click on NEXT and FINISH.

This should do the trick I think.

On Desktop Manager 6.0 its similar to DM 5.0.

Thanks, tried your suggestion, but this unfortunaltely did not solve it. Still does not sync the 'default' calendar items from the BB to outlook.. :(

Problem is you have two calendars on your Blackberry:
  • Desktop
  • Default

The Desktop calendar will sync with your Outlook, the Default won't. So you have to move all your calendar entries from the Default to Desktop. Do the following:
  1. Open the Calendar application.
  2. Press the menu key.
  3. Choose Options.
  4. Type MOVE on the keypad.
  5. When prompted to move all appointments in the base system calendar, choose YES to accept the change. All entries in the Device Default calendar will move to the default active calendar.
  6. Perform a hard reset of the BlackBerry smartphone by removing and replacing the battery while the BlackBerry smartphone is powered on.

After that, do the 1-way calendar sync on the BB Desktop Manager again. That should do the trick.
