Well I've dropped my phone a few times since I had it (I have butter fingers) and recently I've noticed that sometimes the phone screen turns white and usually goes back after I do a soft reset
Last week or so I noticed that if I press the bottom right corner of the screen it turns white (above the power/end key)
As of today, lol it just stayed white!
Not sure what to do about it as the phone still works but it just shows a white screen!

The screen is dead. U were lucky that it kept working for a while. But you need to buy a new screen on ebay or buy a new phone. The blackberry is pretty easy to disassemble but if you don't have the right tools and not good with phones then don't and leave it to an professional or somebody that knows his way with phones.

If you live in the US there are allot of stores that can help u.

I fixed allot of broken bb screens and i just buy them of ebay. It's like a 10 min or less job to change the screen of an bb if you have the right tools.

The screen for the 8100 pearl cost around the 13 dollar on ebay and you get the tools for free.

Awesome, thanks for the fix, just it fixed today.

Unfortunately I have come across another problem. My phone will be fully charged and randomly shut off, when I turn it on it says "low battery, now shutting down" or something along those lines. Once I do a battery pull it goes back to normal! It happens every few hours, would this mean I need to replace the battery or could it be another issue?
