Default Signals bars dont update after SOS in 8900

Please Login to Remove!

Hello;

I have BB8900. In our corrugator plant, there are some places where signals disappear and SOS appears at the place os signal strength bars. But when I reach at the place where signal strength is ok, signal strength bars dont appear. I cycle the power and then bars appear. Please help how can i make setting that signal bars should appear automatically after entering an area where signal strength is ok.

It may be something you have to live with. But instead of cycling the power, just turn the mobile network radio off and then turn it back on.

You might experiment. Do a battery pull to reset the device. Then enter the location where you lose signal and go to SOS. Then leave the area and see whether the BlackBerry connects to the network quickly or does as before. If it does, I think that tells you it is possible for the device to work the way you expect it to operate. But I don't know what the solution would be.
