my 9700 updated to OS 6... could not get access to app world so i created a new ID via the site... this gave me access on the 9700 to app world however it now says the update to app world and messenger is not available ... but the phone says update is available?? i get access and asks to download but the phone then says "not available for download from blackberry app world" anyone have a solution?

I had this problem on my 9700 for a while too. What _appeared_ to fix it was an updated version of App World. All I can suggest is to keep trying. There is clearly something screwed up with App World, but I was unable to find anything definitive about this specific problem....

I have the same issue with app world right now with my 9700 despite getting the latest version.

It worked for a few minutes then no more again

Have you tried a clean install of the OS 6 software?
