Doomed!! My blackberry will not reload the software... we've tried twice. Still on the phone with Sprint hoping they have another idea!

is it seeing the pin # when you tryed mine did not i had to go into options in DM and set it to usb while the BB was plugged in and select it

I just loaded the new software .128 everything looks fine. Question. Do I now have to re-activate the the 8350i with Nextel?

just check if all your wireless is on and everything should be ok mine was

Tried that. It didn't work. Sprint told me to take it up to the repair center... they are exchanging it. Now I am stuck using the old 7100i until Tuesday.

Just got off the phone with Nextel tech support. Told them I just installed the new OS and had the same problem as before with not being able to receive text messages. They told me that BB hasn't released a patch for the text problem yet and they didn't now when they will. What a joke.

BlackBerry Curve 8350i software version 4.6.1.128 (225) is coming next week on BlackBerry and Sprint - Software Downloads - Select your device type.

Actions: Complete the following steps for all BlackBerry 8350i customers.
Verify the software version on the device: Go to Home > ALT + CAP + H keys at the same time. The software version will de displayed.
If the customer does not have software version 4.6.1.128 (225), inform them they must download the update from BlackBerry or Sprint - Software Downloads - Select your device type. Stress to customers that they must back up their data before downloading the update.

ok I have the new update my phone loaded it ran into some problems, and now everything is either working or not working i am still playing around with it

by the way what is the circle with the + sign in it mean just below the wifi i didn't have that before the download

i don't know why other people have so many problems with the phone, i have the desktop manager that came with the phone, i had 2 updates already and the only issue that i have had is the texting beside that the phone works great

I have this version 4.6.1.128 (225) and I still cannot receive text messages. Everything else works flawlessly. Go figure.

That indicates that the location feature of your phone is enabled. If there's a line through it then it's disabled.

I did what the first couple people said at the beginning of this thread... now my phone doesn't work at all... App Error 200... I've tried the battery, just unistalled all BB from my computer and reinstalled from disk... problem is, when I hit the track ball to RESET, it only tries to reset for about 60 to 90 seconds, then ERROR comes back...
Any help someone could give would be greatly appreciated... the shame thing is the only issue I had with my phone was I had to turn it OFF then back ON to get incoming text's...LOL... I guess lets what I get for only reading the first couple posts of this thread instead of the last couple posts. PLEASE HELP!!!

I used to have what you have Len1... so much for that... I was very pleased with this phone (except for receiving texts) until I started F-ing with it.
