Smile got-2: FREE Task Management for "List People"

Please Login to Remove!

We at gWhiz are happy to announce our latest FREE software offering: got-2 (BETA)!

You can download got-2 from our website, either OTA or to your desktop.

A description (and screenshot) follows:

got-2: Task Management For "List People"

If you prefer crossing items off your list versus constantly checking your calendar, then our new, FREE, got-2 Task Manager is for you. Not only does it synchronize nicely with the task list and BlackBerry calendar, it also allows you to easily generate task lists and sublists. And...it's FREE.

You might think that those features would make got-2 cool enough...but...

got-2 also has an sophisticated reminder system that will alert you either by a given date/time or a GPS location!

got-2's GPS location alerts can prompt you when you are near home, a business, a friends house, or anywhere you'd like to be reminded of something. No more leaving the store without remembering everything you wanted to get; No more forgetting to pick up something that was on the way. Save your sanity and your gas, never backtrack again!

Key Features:

* One easy to read screen with collapsible lists, subtasks, and agenda items.
* Choose your preferred view: simple list or week agenda.
* Get alerts based on time or location
* Share tasks and lists via email
* Prioritize-as-you-go by moving items up/down
* Keep track of progress by marking off tasks, appointments, agenda items, and subtasks.
* Stores data in BlackBerry Tasks and Calendar - synchronizes with Outlook and Google calendar.
* Location integration with Google or BlackBerry maps.
* It's FREE!

Just downloaded. Pretty nice for a free app. Clean interface. First impression is so far so good.

I like the app so far. But is there anyway to reverse the color scheme so that is dark text on a white background?

I like it, but does it have to evoke the browser every time I exit the application?

Why is it when I type in the New Appointment box I can't see what is being typed. If I roll the cursor over it I can see a letter at a time. What am I doing wrong. Application looks nice.

that's odd -

Do you have customized font colors or some other non-standard configuration? We haven't seen this issue.

Not at this time but we can add that in a future release.

If you have a data plan it shows a message from one of our sponsors so we can keep the app free. You can just back click past it if you're not interested.

I have precisely the same problem here. White text box with white text - can't see what you're entering. I've got no odd configuration or anything like that.

No I don't have customized font colors or non-standard configuration. I just cant see what is being typed. Once I click ok (after typing the words I can't see) then on the What I Got-2 Do page I can then see what I have typed. It is white letters on a white background, but when I roll the blue cursor over the letter I can then see the letter as long as the blue cursor is over it.

Okay sorry for the troubles - this issue has been fixed. You can download the latest (0.7.2) which should solve the problem.

Default new version

Where can I download the new version? I just downloaded and got 7.1

Also is there somewhere where you list the latest versions of all the apps? I like your other products as well but I would like to occasionally check to see if I have the updated version...the only way I know how is to attempt to download and see the version it is about to download

Default OTA download

also, I did an OTA download.

Do I have to install in through my desktop to get the new version?

No, the new version is available OTA or via desktop. If you refresh the download page you should see the new version.

Thanks and sorry for the confusion...

Hopefully we're talking about the same page

After you select the got-2 (Task and Assignment Manager) link from the main download page, it brings you to a page with the download button. This page shows the version number. You've refreshed that page? If you have, and it's still showing you 0.7.1 please use the menu button and select "Send Address" to [email address] and we'll track it down.

Thanks for your help figuring this out.

Yes, I had success with getting 7.2 OTA. While at the download screen I clicked on the menu button, and did a refresh and 7.2 replaced 7.1. Problem is not fixed.

I got 7.2 but the problem remains (white back ground white text - can't see it).
