Hi all,

Im trying to get my BB pearl to type in multitap instead of T9-esq spelling. but every time i try to change it as the manual suggests.

Switch typing input methods
1. In the device options, click Language.
2. Perform one of the following actions:
• To use the multi-tap input method, set the Input Language field to <Language> Multitap.
• To use the SureType™ input method, set the Input Language field to <Language>.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Save.

It still reverts to the English(United States) instead of English(United Kingdom)Multitap

tried searching for this issue, plenty of people who are stuck the other way round.

If anyone has any ideas id be grateful, im not scared of technology, just a new learning curve when it comes to blackberrys

any apps : sms or dictionary,, you click the MENU button , it will show the ENABLE multitap. got it?

I think i got it now, i dont think the phone was configured correctly from the start, reset the phone, seems to have changed the settings from optons/language so we'll see how it goes

You should give Suretype some time to get use to, it's great.

i did try to get used to it, then again im used to having a whole qwerty keyboard... this was "the best phone for my money" apparently. if the bold was out here i would have that straight away
