How do i install java games from the PC on my 8110?
The application installer only lets me install games with the .alx and .cod format but I found many games with the traditional .jar/.jad format
So how do I install them without having to download them through the browser?

There are some softwares that can turn the jar./jad into alx. and cod.

you can google them.

You can copy files .jad or .jar to mediacard. After, you use Media Player/Explorer open the files.

I tried to open the file with IE but it did not work. Then I tried to open it with Media Player no luck on getting the file to my media card.

With MediaPlayer, you click button menu for open Explorer.

im with the same trouble.... i cant to install a .jar directly using my blackberry explorer.. take me the message:
unable to display file /media card/blackberry/games/game.jar

what i do ??

I'm having the same trouble.

as NEWBLACKBERRY 8100. YOU copy the 2 files .jar ,jad to mediacard. then use explore to open. you will see the tab DOWNLOAD. click on it and enjoy. if it like this "unable to display file /media card/blackberry/games/game.jar" it means the file bad or not compatiple with your model.
