Default Installing application with BES

Please Login to Remove!

I'm on a BES Express server on a BlackBerry 9700 Bold. I deployed an application called Opera-Mini and everything worked fine. For the job status I show Completed. After I deployed the job my BB asked me to reboot which I did but the application is no where to be found.

I have looked everywhere and I can't see an icon for it. I also used the Desktop Manager to look at my application and can't find it either that way.

Any ideas why I can't find it?

Could be blocked by the IT Policy. However, the icon could also be hidden or in another folder. Look in the Applications folder or the Download folder.

I have looked in the Applications and Download folder and it is not there. Can't find it anywhere else either as I said.

I only have the default policy in place in BES. The only Rule that is set to yes is Disallow Patch Download Over Roaming WAN under Wireless Software Upgrades.

When I downloaded Opera Mini it asked me to select the firmware version and I selected 4.2.1 and the other option I have are 4.3 and 4.7

Is that a reason why it may not work? How do I know what firmware version I should download? Where do I check the firmware on my BB bold 9700?

Yes, that's the reason.
The modules you pushed aren't compatible with the OS on your handheld.
