Default Unable to setup Admin users in BES 5.0.

Please Login to Remove!

In the last week we have not been able to setup a new AD linked admin user from the BES console!

Useually we can add an Admin user by entering a Dispaly Name, their AD Admin ID, the Domain and finaly the admin password of the current logged in BES Admin user. But his week it would appear that BES has lost its link to AD some how (we did have a minor DNS issue that was resolved about the same time this issue appeared).

New mail users are still appearing in the pick list to add them to the BES and activations/mail is working fine. I can also login to the Server OS with an AD account and brouse the network.

I have checked the config of the MAPI connection (as above) this is running fine. I have also checked the 'Blackberry Administration Service' Active Directory Tab and the AD tab in the Server Configuration app and all appear to be fine.

Are there any BES tools to test AD connectivity or any thoughts would be useful?

Have you rebooted the BES since the DNS glitch?

Where do you do that? I normally go to "Create users", enter the last name and the user gets created. I then add the role of "Enterprise Administrator" to the user.
